“Are you calling to scold me again?” I asked when he called again half an hour later.
“No, I am calling to tell you that I came to your house to see if your nanny could link me to you but you wouldn’t believe what I found out!” He blurted and I clicked my tongue angrily. I thought he was playing mind games with me again. I exhausted from the day’s events and I wanted no trouble from anyone.
