The feeling after I dragged that almost naked woman off Douglas was exhilarating. She was screaming and cursing me, and each word she shouted out as she was being unceremoniously escorted out had me filled with a kind of satisfaction. No longer would I accept that behavior around my man. While I am there, what he does behind my back is his business, and he better hope I never catch him doing such a thing. I learned my lesson once, so I don't need a second lesson. Not that Douglas would do such a thing, but you can't stop your brain from going there, no matter how hard you try. Best to let it flow through and out of the other side.
The old me was back, a woman who would not allow anyone to touch what was hers.
At first, I was hurt and felt betrayed. I can't deny that it did.
