Jessica could fall asleep fast.
I envy her ability to lie in my arms and fall asleep quickly.
There is no tossing and turning. She gives this cute little sigh and is soon asleep in my arms. While I am stuck, lying there, my mind is still reviewing the details of the day and wondering if I have forgotten anything important. Mind you, at this time of night, there is little I can do to change it if I have forgotten something.
Some time later, sleep found me. Her warmth and softness helped calm my mind and let sleep take me.
Her warmth is gone, and I fight to wake up.
