Jessica POV The day started well, and I had been nervous cooking breakfast in Douglas's kitchen. It was well equipped and stocked with more food than I had expected. Once the coffee pot was on, I rummaged around for better containers for last night's leftovers, placed them in the freezer, and found the makings for breakfast. The food was what I was in the mood to eat, so far, no sign of morning sickness. This is great because I like food in the morning, and when I have the time, I enjoy cooking. Douglas appeared to enjoy what was prepared. That's good because, unless it's a special occasion, the food I cook will be what I want to eat, not all his preferred foods. Many nights, I sat with food in the warmer, waiting for Sam to come home, and he was always late. I knew the business
