Two days since that night, and she is still on my mind. No woman has affected me like she has.
How could a man hurt her like he did?
Vicky brought in the payroll for me to sign off on, and she patiently waited for me to flick through it. The payroll was for all my clubs, not just this one, but for some reason, this club had become the head office of paperwork.
"Has your friend heard from that baby agency?" I asked as I signed my approval, one club at a time.
"Yes. Friday, she will have a scan and test to see the damage that was done when she lost her baby." Vicky replied.
