Eight of them fang out, a wicked smile on their faces and red eyes. They surrounded me. Cold crawled up my spine. I had seen it so many times, it shouldn't be surprising. The fear shouldn't have stopped my heart. But it did. They smelled of death and ash. And they were going to take me down with them. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't scream as I felt one touch my arm and hiss, revealing his fangs. I could feel my heart pounding so loud, I heard it in my ears. "Ahhh. Stay away, all of you." A voice broke through the group, and I stiffened. My heart raced. Without seeing a face, I recognized that voice. And a chill ran down my spine. The group pathed away. And I watched with dread as that face came to view. Pale, handsome, lanky, and tall, he strode towards me and bent down to my level.
