It's official. Ender was mad. I could still recall the last two times those two had crossed paths; in both cases, I found myself surrounded by his flames. And yet, he wanted me to go with him. At least I was dressed and not sitting naked beside him. And this was for Kai. And if Logan could help, I didn't mind it.
I followed quietly behind him as he made his way out of the castle and out of the Keep. A carriage was right outside, with a horse strapped on it. But he didn't look at it twice. He took a path through the woods, and I followed. But his steps were fast and his movement swift. Yet, I couldn't keep up. I had to start running to keep up with his pace, and he didn't stop or look behind me to check if I was still following or if I had fallen behind.
