Lana and I finally had something to celebrate. It felt like we had been dealing with bad news ever since we met and now that we could touch and kiss, it felt a little surreal. This had been something that I had been dreaming about for such a long time and now that it was happening I still kind of felt like I was still dreaming. Initially, I had my doubts about following Lana deep into the nature reserve but I was now glad that I had. Although the trip wasn’t over yet, I felt like on the first day we were here we had accomplished a lot, and the fact that we had managed to get the curse broken on the first day showed me that we were off to a good start.
