Between getting ready for the mating ritual and trying to get Lana pregnant, I had my hands full. The elders had refused to accept any kind of help from her because they said that she was still an outsider. However, I knew that they still didn’t trust her, they didn’t trust her despite all the things that I had told them, and despite knowing what Dahlia had done to my parents’ death, they still didn’t trust Lana or even believe that she meant well for the pack. As far as I was concerned, Lana hadn't done anything to make them not trust her. I guessed that they just didn’t trust her and there wasn’t anything that I could do to make them change their minds.
