After spending time with Lana and hearing her story, I realized there was no way she could have been responsible for my parent's death. The poor girl didn’t even know who she was and the story that she told me was heartbreaking. I couldn’t believe that my own mate had wandered into the human land trying to fit into a place where she clearly didn’t fit. I sympathized with her and, although I was very happy that I had found my mate, I was still very sad that I hadn’t found the person who had killed my parents. I didn’t even know where to start searching right now, I wasn’t even sure if searching for the person responsible would be a good idea now, since my mate was here.
