LANA’S POV The tension in the room was so thick one could cut it with a knife. I had walked in here so confident and with my head held high, but now I was feeling very self-conscious. I didn’t like the way the elders looked at me. The once friendly Elder Charles was literally giving me the stink eye as if he couldn’t believe that I had the guts to appear before them after what they thought I had done.
