Even though the doctor had assured me that Lana would be okay, I just couldn’t stop blaming myself for what had happened last night. I shouldn’t have allowed Lana to strong-hand me into agreeing that we meet with Norah after all, I knew the witches better than she did and I knew what they were capable of. I should have put my foot down and insisted that we stay at home but I didn’t and that almost cost me, my mate. This was not only Lana’s fault but mine too, it was her fault because she had entertained the witch and convinced me to go and meet with her and it was my fault because I was the one who introduced the witch to us.
