“You never did tell me what happened to your sister?" I said after yet another stop for Benjamin to raid a car.
He had just jumped back into the driver's side and paused in the process of shutting the door. The deer in the headlights look crossed his face seconds before a distressed look then he obviously tried hard to erase the other looks off his face.
