CHAPTER 27
Slowly Amyla began to wake up from her slumber that she didn't remember falling into. She opened her eyes and chose to sit but it wasn't a good idea as her head started to ring so as not to dismiss the aching in her back and neck.
She looked around her room and suddenly everything came rushing back - Mr Orsini, his rage-filled eyes and him literally choking her to death. Dread rushed to her system and in a panic state, she glanced around but thankfully he wasn't there.
Her face contorted in pain as she walked into her bathroom and looked at her dishevelled self. A tear fell from her eye looking at the blue bruises on her neck, she slightly lifted her pyjamas shirt to see a bruise on the side of her waist probably when he gouged his nails.
