Natasha hated being the carrier of bad news, well who doesn't? But she hates it a lot. She knows how it feels, hearing about something terrible and holding back so that others shouldn't see you this vulnerable.
She has been through a lot, heard her fair share of bad news but she always managed to ignore them. Maybe because she always thought there was a bright side to it. Yeah that was her attitude, her perspective before her life took a three sixty degree turn and she didn't believe in it anymore. It would be stupid to even say that aloud because she herself doesn't believe it now. It makes her feel so absurd and stupid for even thinking that she used to walk on that principle, thought that it was okay but in fact it wasn't.
