Anaira’s P.O.V.
It was almost 5 days after what happened at the police station. Alex was recovering fast. I was doing fine too but at a slow rate. The doctor said that my body already had born so much in the past and was in the process of healing when it happened again. He said that I will be fine soon but was not sure how much time my body would take to heal properly.
We had only 12 days for our wedding. Alex refused to postpone our marriage this time. He didn't want to take any risk now. He had already lost me once and was not ready to lose me this time. I tried to reason him that we were not in good health condition and we could postpone only for a few weeks so that we could get the time to recover properly. John had already gone and there was no way that he would come back.
