AWAKENING 1
**RYAN’S POV**
It's been two decades since I have been asleep. not knowing what was going on, the world has changed, the world was under the mad king reign, everybody was living under fear, both humans, werewolves and even vampires were scared. Those soldiers, our troops he captured were all tortured before putting them to death in painful way.
Those that Survived the war had to run for their lives, living in an underground of a cave, the king, his wife and children, Anthony, Isreal, Cassy, Maxwell, Selene and Jake with some troops and children and women from the king’s Alexander kingdom were all living underground of a mountain cave. How they build a castle under the mountain was a mystery to me but why being worried when we have witches living with us now.
Selene was able to free some of her people the ones we couldn't free were captured back again and Selene promised them to come back for them to free them.
I wondered why I was awake I knew I died that night and when to meet my ancestor but I couldn't recall coming back to life. Eric was still in slumber and everyone was waiting for his awakening so we could plan the next strategy.
Everything would have been a success if the dark lord hasn't possessed his body, the mad king would have been dead and the world would have been peaceful. I recalled everything that happened back then and how I have to kill myself to stop Eric or let me say the dark lord from destroying the world, I was still thinking hard when Selene walked in
“It’s good to see a much much familiar again, welcome back from the dead” she said smiling at me as she took a seat beside me
. “Thank you very much, a lot has changed since my sleep. Wow I love the way you made a mountain cave a castle and I believe nobody would ever suspect that humans are living here” I told her
“That was the only way for us to be safe, the world has changed and everything isn't the way it used to be. You mention either king Alexander or the hybrid or even your name, the offender will be skinned to life before being killed. The world under the mad king is bloody and more messier than before” serene said giving me information about everything I have missed since I have been asleep
“What happened that day Selene after I stopped the dark lord Kerian what happened to me?” I asked her
“I was hoping you will tell m when we saw the blinding light, everyone was scared and then all of a sudden it disappeared and Maxwell said he wanted to check what was happening that he couldn't feel Eric’s energy flowing through him and all the hybrids said the same thing, so we all went to the battleground, the whole place was a wreck and then we saw you lying in your pool of blood and Eric was back to normal but he was awake. So we have to carry the both of you to a safe place, in was bale to stop your bleeding and make sure you were out of danger. You are more powerful than I thought, guess you are really the god of our coven.” she said smiling at me, “what happened after we left, fill me in. I want to know it all?” she asked
“When you all left I had a spell in my head that won't go away and I had the glimpse of what I am going to do, so with the pedal on the necklace I chanted a binding spell that would cast the dark lord to sleep forever and I leapt forward only to be welcomed by his sword piercing through me, I wouldn't give up so the only to draw closer to him was to push my self forward, I felt real pain as the sword kept piercing through me as I moved forward and got to him and with the last spell word I gave up and collapsed on the ground. That's what happened” I told her
“I am sorry you have to go through those pain,” she said tears fell from her eyes, “its like I failed your mother when I said I will protect you, instead, I always put you in harm's way”
“It's not your fault, in was created for this, maybe that was the reason why I disappeared a long time ago because I never wanted any of this but who knows I will be facing it again in the future. No one can indeed escape destiny” I told her wiping the tears from her eyes
“Did you get your memories back?” she asked me and I shook my head
“No, I didn't, I was hoping that you help me get it back again, can you please Selene restore my lost memory. I want to be able to destroy the mad king once and for all so that we can face the mad king and bring peace to the world and free them from this fear and hell they are all in” I asked her
“Yes you know I will be willing to do all that sire,” she said bowing her head to me
“Don't call me that please I am still Ryan to you,” I told her
“I wish you are just Ryan again but you are not, you are our god. I wish that when you get your memory back I will love to be a student of yours sire” she said, “please do teach me”
“Of course I will teach you but on one condition,” I told her
“What's that name it and I will do it,” she said
“Treat me as just Ryan please and also when will you restore it back?” I asked her
. “Not now, you just escaped death you should rest more”
. “I have been resting for twenty good years, I need to get my self back”
“And you will but rest now and if you want to see Eric, I will take you to where he is” she said and at the mention of Eric my eyes were filled with excitement, I have missed his face so much,
“Take me to see him please,” I told her and she nodded as she lead the way
