"You ready, Haley?" Stan shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
He was eager to get onto the road, they had bought a new car between them, it was their first purchase as a couple, and the guys had all taken the piss out of them, stating it was their child, and because they had gone for an electric SUV.
"Yeah, coming, so we are agreed, we split the driving!" Haley shouted as she bounded down the stairs.
Both of them wanted to drive the new blue Lexus UX 300 e, and had played rock paper scissors for the privilege of driving the 5 hour journey to London. Stan had won, then Haley pouted, so they agreed to take turns each, which he was rewarded by Haley in her own unique way, and it was definitely worth giving up half the driving for.
