“Uncle Adrian!” Jace shouted and the moment broke between us as we both looked to the other side of the pool from where Adrian was coming.
He had a pair of sunglasses on, they were resting at the top of the bridge of his nose quite snuggly as there was a white tape on his nose, and I couldn’t help the smile that threatened to pull at my lips as I remembered the day he had came in the apartment and Brandon had decked him, almost breaking his nose for deliberately making me misunderstand before I could. After that he had apologized to me and good-naturedly held out his hand in a truce, which I had accepted.
