Finch Everything seemed to be going well. The two of us talked for so long the sun had long gone down. The only light in the clearing was from the moon. Thankfully, it was a clear night, and that was enough light for us to still see well enough. Our conversation slowed over the last ten minutes or so. Petal sat next to me on the blanket with her legs out. Her legs crossed at the ankles. Her arms held her up as she leaned back and looked over the small lake that we sat next to.
