Sloan jerked in fear at the sight of those eyes.
“Ivy,” Maddie called out this time around, feeling something wrong almost immediately. She turned her eyes to her sharply and her heart skipped a mile. The sound of her heart pounding inside her chest was so sweet and beautiful to Aziza’s ears, she started towards her.
“Ivy,” Maddie called out again and took a step back, feeling scared and confused at the same time. she had come to save them, had she not? Why was she suddenly coming at them?
