“Yes, she did. We should celebrate her return instead of staring at her like complete buffoons,” Roman growled at their reaction and their eyes fell immediately.
It was shocking to them that Daciana was back. If not that she knew alpha Roman and had a close relationship with the alpha family, she was seen as weak and useless and would never have been a part of alpha’s closest pack. Knowing how weak she was, they expected that she would die just as everybody else. Their pack was seen as weak, truly, but she was something worse than that and it was no lie that they believed that she would not return. Not when the other strong ones died. And when it was heard that she was back, they still doubted it. Not anymore anyway, since she was standing right in front of them.
