CHAPTER 73 ALEX’S POV My eyes fluttered open, my shirt sleep cut short by the soft hum of my desktop filling my office. I groaned, rubbing my eyes as a wave of exhaustion swept over me. I hadn't gotten a wink in over a week now–not properly at least. Every time it felt like the sleep was coming, I'd see her face and I would instantly be filled with dread.
