CHAPTER 67 ALEX’S POV My father appeared just as Mara was about going. He asked if she wanted to go but she didn't answer. Then he took over, telling her to ignore my mum and reconsider joining us. He told her if she wanted to go, he was fine with it but we could have another dinner. I searched Mara's eyes, checking if she was going to change her mind, and listened to my father.
