A new day. My body continues to tremor violently as Caden holds on to me as we all head outside the place the Djinn claimed as a home. The sun is barely breaching over the horizon, filling the night sky with pale yellows and purples, showing us the destruction of this town. Buildings are burned and the land is barren of any life.
