NINE DAYS HAD passed since the last time I met Lucas and I missed him so much. Last night, I called him several times. However, he did not answer my call. I thought maybe he was doze off after work.
So I decided to get up early to go to their pack. After I took a shower and got dressed, I didn’t bother eating breakfast. I’ll just eat breakfast at the castle. I want to spend my day off with him, and it’s a waste of time if I eat breakfast before going there.
“I thought you’re going to rest today,” Van said when he saw me walking out of the mansion, wearing a dress and holding a purse.
“I’m going to rest with Lucas,” I answered. “I missed him.”
“That’s how couples feel when it’s still new.” Van shook his head.
“Are you saying that you’re tired of your wife?”
