AFTER THE MAID ran away, I took the bouquet with me and went back inside of the office. I settled down the roses on the sofa before I sat beside it and read the card.

I bit my lower lip when I read the word ‘love’ at the end of his letter. Why did he say that word? Now I imagined him saying that! I rolled my eyes and instead of standing up to go outside, I took my phone and dialed his number. However, he’s not answering the call.
For the third time that I am calling him, he’s still not answering so I ended up standing up and stomping my feet to go out and walk out of the mansion to get there. Because he wasn’t answering my calls
