I WAS SILENT as we drove back to the mansion. Felix sat beside me, but he didn't say a word, and I had no intention of speaking to him either. Felix was once my boyfriend, and during our relationship, I had always thought he was kind, unlike his brother Asher and his father, who had unpleasant personalities.
