Shocks of pain runs through my body the moment I open my eyes. My skin burns, my bones feel sore, my eyes are sore and my throat is dry. A pained groan escapes the confines of my lips as my current dilemma registers in my brain, serving as a trigger to the unbearable pain I felt yesterday.
"She's awake." I hear someone say from beside my bed.
"Inna?" Claire's concerned voice pushes me to open my eyes, her face the first one I see before Lois' face and the faces of the physicians who sedated me yesterday.
"Water." My voice is raspy, making my dry throat hurt.
"Here drink up." Claire says, bringing the cup closer to my lips. I greedily gulp down every drop in it, but I still feel thirsty.
"More.." I croak out. I take three cups of water before I feel a bit okay. But the peace
