"Dad's office." Lucian replies to my question. I really missed him. But I am also proud that he kept things going here, when we were all in Redon.
"Have they started yet?" I ask as I head back to my room with Innana soundly asleep in my arms and Lucian beside me.
"No. We were waiting for you." He says. It is almost 7pm. They really did not have to wait for me. The sooner we get this over with the better.
I enter my room with Lucian behind me, then gently lay Innana on the bed. She sighs but does not wake up. The room still has Innana and I's scent, but it is not that strong.
"Did Dad tell you about what you are supposed to do?" I ask Lucian with my eyes still on Innana. Her chest rises and falls with each breathe. Her black her sprawled on the pillows in a beautiful mess.
"Yes.
