"Where do you think papa went to?" I ask Adara as I continue snacking on some cookies. They are the same ones Lois got us, but creamier. The baby is making me too much of a sweet tooth.
"I'm sure he'll be back soon, he's a grown man, Nana." Adara chuckles.
It's almost 3pm, Umma went out with Papa a few hours ago and they are not yet back.
I can't say that I'm not worried because I am. I guess it's because I haven't had him around for years, and I don't want any bad thing to happen to him again. He has suffered enough.
I take two cookies from the plate, leaving the rest for Adara, and walk towards the window. Prince Micca's room is way bigger than Dominique's.
I still feel like something else has to happen. I don't know what, but I'm strangely excited.
