I groan when the sudden heat makes my skin burn. The sky is still dark when I am pulled from my sleep, and the clock reads 1am.
My skin burns and my body is sticky with sweat. I gaze at Innana when she groans in pain and discomfort as she tries to pull the sheets off her. Her body is burning up.
"You are burning up, love." I whisper then pull the sheets off her, before helping her out of her clothes.
"Water.. I feel like I'm being cooked." She moans in pain and her brows creese with discomfort. She is not in heat. I can't smell it. I put that thought aside for now when beads of sweat starts forming on her naked body, then rush into the bathroom and fill the tub with cold water.
