I groan and stair awake when the sun rays hit my eyes through the open window.
I blink once and twice before fully opening my eyes.
Then and sit up on the bed.
A smile tugs at the corners of my lips when Dom's scent invades my nostrils.
But the second the image of the chaos caused by the tremors yesterday invades my mind, the smile gets swept off my face.
The people.
The children, how are they?
How are things at the capital?
The questions make my headache.
I wince at the slight pain in my head.
Where is Dom anyway?
The sun is already out, is it that late already.
How come no one woke me up?
How did I even end up sleeping this long?
I still feel weak just after waking up from sleeping.
I am not too weak, just enough to feel down.
