Austin is nearly at the border of the sapphire pack. He was planning to ride at full speed but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. He is not excited about the prospect. He wants to go faster so that he can get back to Harlow quicker but just the thought of having to face Preston. He doesn't like doing it at the best of times, but he does not know how he is going to react when and if Preston says something bad about Harlow, he doesn’t seem to take things said against Harlow well. He can feel it in himself, he can feel his anger spike with the slightest thing and his usual source of calm is not with him.
He doesn’t want to go, he wants to stay with Harlow, his place is with Harlow. He can’t imagine being anywhere else.
