Austin turns to look at the room, choking back a little laugh as he views the two single beds at opposite sides of the room. The way that Alpha Anthony tries to exercise his authority without actually going against what Harlow said is rather hilarious and incredibly juvenile. The fact that Anthony thinks that if they were actually in a s*xual relationship, that two single beds would stop them is the biggest joke Austin has ever heard.
Either Anthony is not imaginative enough or he underestimates Austin's conviction. Austin wonders how far Harlow would carry this facade, for he can't say that he would be opposed to going against authority in such a way. Or maybe that's just his excuse.
