After giving Edward’s suggestion some thought, Cosette agreed it made sense.
"The only problem is that I’m going there to work. Do you think it will be okay for me to take Carl?"
Cosette was apprehensive about introducing Carl to strangers in case anything happened that might hurt him.
“Don’t worry, Edward told her. "Luna and her crew are smart and will know what they can or shouldn’t say."
When Carl heard that he was going to go to Mommy’s work with her he was ecstatic, "Mom, I promise I’ll be good, every minute of the time.”
Cosette kissed him on the cheek, "I know you will, my darling."
It made him even happier being kissed!
Edward was jealous.
It had been his idea in the first place, so why was Carl the one getting the kiss!
