“One more push Ava.” The midwife said to me “One more and your baby will be here.” She added
I had been in labour for nearly twenty hours and now it was finally time for us to meet our baby girl. Dylan was by my side, holding my hand, there was no way he was going down there to see what was going on. Yes it is the most beautiful, natural thing in the world child birth but I really don’t need my husband down there.
“Nearly there sweetheart, you got this.” He said stroking my damp hair
I was exhausted but I could do this…it would all be worth it and there has been nothing easy about this pregnancy from start to end…not for me…not for Dylan so I was not giving up now. Everything we have been through is gonna be worth it. I took a few deep breaths and gave one last hard pus
