We had arrived back from Paris and today I was going to by Ava an actual engagement ring. I wanted to get a message on it that reminded her every day that I loved her but before I go ring shopping I was meeting with my parents. They knew I had a girlfriend, Ava has not been ready to meet them yet but we were hoping to change that over the next couple of days. I wanted to meet them first to tell them I asked Ava to marry me rather than spring it on them when they first meet Ava, that would be too much pressure for Ava and I don’t want that. I want her first time meeting my family to be perfect. Plus I was hoping my mum would come with me to look at rings, I know what I wanted in my head but my mother’s opinion means a lot to me and she does have an amazing taste. I know Ava
