“Kayla, we heard it.” Amara started and I looked at her with my brows furrowed in confusion, wondering what she meant.
“What did you hear?”
“You’re in danger. You and Alpha Lucien.” Vanya said and I shifted my gaze to her face.
They all looked so serious and carried grave expressions. It told me that they weren’t joking and this was really something to be alarmed about.
“How am I in danger? Can you please tell me?”
Amara was more dramatic. She paused and listened for any sounds outside before she started to whisper slowly. “So, I told you I had somehow become friends with the Luna of this pack right?”
I nodded. I remembered her mentioning that. It was how she got the invitation.
