LUCIEN’S POV.  I should’ve known. The signs had been staring blatantly at me, but I f*****g ignored it. Kayla always avoided talking about the day she claimed to have saved me whenever I brought it up, and I thought it was simply because she didn’t want to recall it. After all, I wasn’t sure how that night had gone for her. But you know what? That wasn’t what should have given it away at all. The song I heard Sophia sing while she was in her room. It was the same song I had heard my savior sing while I was unconscious and she was dressing up my wound. It was the only thing I remembered about the person who had saved me.
