How did I make this mistake?
“Are you trying to trick me again?” he slammed his hands on the table. His face close to mine, his mark on my neck hurting badly.
Again? I wondered.
“I-I’m sorry. I’ll fix it.” I picked up the pen to try to correct the signature but he snatched the papers out of my hands and breathed, as if trying to control his anger. I noticed the sensation on my neck reduce a lot.
Could it be related to his anger?
