As I went down the stairs with Lucien, Brian was waiting.
He looked up from the sofa and his gaze remained fixed on me as Lucien helped me descend the stairs.
“WOW.” He called out, “I’d never met you like this.”

“But I have heard a lot about you. You know, when our Alpha here thought he couldn’t have you.”
