Alpha Adrian’s POV
To say I was angry would be an understatement. I was furious. I wanted to grab his head and smash it into a pulp, watch the blood drain from his eyes as I made my kill slow and steady.
But due to certain rules governing this kind of meeting, I could not, regrettably, carry out those actions.
The look in her eyes said it all — the embarrassment she was going through and the pain she felt because she had to keep smiling like a pretty doll.
I still could not wrap my head around who had invited him. He should not be here, unless someone invited him, and based on the odds it could have been any alpha.
I hated that I had put her into such a predicament, hated that her heart was probably racing with pain now, and that it was all my fault for bringing her here.
