Through his earpiece, Siegfried was alerted that one of the elevators was moving again. He stepped out of his car, his eyes sharply following the lift. It stopped on the ground floor and he saw Scarlett rushed out of it, wiping her tears off.
He remembered how furious Cattleya had been towards him for letting danger come to this woman’s life. He knew his boss’ wishes well by now. He wouldn’t make the same mistakes twice. The matchmaker was his priority. He issued orders to his men to stay vigilant as he moved away from his position.
