I stood there feeling alone and foolish as Levi leaned in to kiss her cheek. She was gorgeous, a statuesque beauty with gleaming auburn hair, practically dripping in poise and grace. Even fully glammed out in my wedding look, I felt insignificant the moment she walked in the room.
The name, Avery, tickled at the back of my mind. As she stepped into Levi’s embrace and pressed her red painted lips to his cheek, I remembered.
