Harper’s POV
Everything felt like a dream as I wandered into my room, shedding clothes meant for wedding festivities. Not that I wanted to participate after everything that’d happened in the last week alone.
I was glad that Mason wasn’t there, but that only meant that I had to worry about what happened when he got back.
At least I’d been able to secure a meeting with Alpha Genn. That was the only hope I had left anymore. I couldn’t rely on Levi, I had been his burden long enough. Nothing would be able to change my mind about that. He was ready to move on and start a new life with Avery.
