Harper's POV After my failed escape, everything got harder. I barely got five minutes alone in the bathroom before someone started pounding on the door or Mason let himself inside. Every breath I took, someone observed me, taking note of exactly how deep it was. I expected Mason to completely let go of any boundaries he had left when it came to his anger, but he still had his moments of trying to love bomb me. He’d randomly show up with armloads of gift bags from designer stores or dozens of red roses, but I was uninterested in it all.
