The next few days were uncomfortable to say the least. I was worried about my request that I’d sent to the Alpha Council. Each time I used Mason’s laptop, it came with a huge risk. There was no way that I could risk exposing myself by looking at my email, not that I’d really had a chance. Mason and Vera made sure that I barely had time to breathe.
