I blinked slowly,my eyebrows furrowing.
When did I fall asleep?
But as I stared at the white ceiling instead of the beautiful canopy of Valerian's bed,I knew I wasn't at home.
"Thank goodness you're awake"
The beeping of a monitor and Valerian's voice made me shoot up from the bed. I winced as pain shot up in my head,making Valerian stand up and rush towards me.
"Are you alright?" He asked,cupping my neck and sitting on the bed.
"Slight headache and dizziness. Other than that, I'm fine" I said.
Valerian sighed and pressed his forehead to mine,his hand on my stomach.
"I'm so relieved" he whispered,rubbing tiny circles on my stomach.
"What happened to me?" I asked confused.
"You slipped and fell off the stairs" he replied,his voice going edgy and rough.
