I wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. I stretch my arms and legs and let out a yawn. As I sit up, I run my fingers through my hair, which is a mess after sleeping. I swing my legs over the side of the bed and stand up, feeling the cold floor beneath my feet.
I walk over to the window and pull back the curtains, letting the sunlight pour in. I take a deep breath, enjoying the fresh morning air. I close my eyes and focus on the moment, taking in all the sounds and smells around me.
